About Us

The Wellness Point

We opened The Wellness Point in Annville in 2007, becoming the only full-time acupuncture office in Lebanon County. When we started, we had an office attached to our home to provide flexibility for our family, as well as availability to our clients. Eventually, we were asked to move our office to Quittie Glen to join a group of practitioners who were dedicated to giving patient-centered care that was often "out of the box." We operated there for several years until Dr. John Biever, the owner of Quittie Glen, passed away. We were fortunate to find a new location, remaining in Annville, so that we could continue to offer our services to our community.

At The Wellness Point, our goal is to promote balance, flexibility, wellness, freedom from pain, time with patients, education, and affordability. We do this by providing acupuncture, osteopathic medicine, and mental health services. In our current location, we are able to have other counselors, yoga intructors, and Reiki providers join with us in continuing to provide the same quality care we always have.

With a new, expanded location, we are also able to provide groups and classes to support those in our community hoping to learn more about anxiety and depression, stress management, parenting, marriage, and other life skills. Our hope is that we can provide a place that is open and accepting of all people, regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, or socioeconomic background. We want to make The Wellness Point a place of education, support, friendship, inclusion, community, and wellness.

And in all that we do, our goal is to help us all achieve a well-rounded and balanced life. We hope we can all learn to live well.

Mark Foley, D.O.

I am a licensed osteopathic family physician and acupuncturist. I have long felt that while conventional medicine has revolutionized the world, there can still be gaps in our healthcare that need to be "filled in." Using acupuncture and osteopathic medicine, I have been able to help many people deal with a variety of issues, such as back and neck pain, migraines and other headaches, fibromyalgia, chronic pain syndromes, allergies and asthma, anxiety and depression, addiction, and so much more.

In addition to working at The Wellness Point, I do consulting at WellSpan Philhaven Psychiatric hospital.

My goal is not only to help you feel better, but to help you find balance in your life and live well.

I am a trauma-informed mental health educator. I believe in the power of groups - together, we can share in knowledge, vulnerability, and compassion. There is healing in connection - in being seen, heard, and knowing that you are not alone.

I have always enjoyed being a counselor and I am very excited to be offering groups and classes where we can share experiences, feelings, and community together. I will help you heal and break toxic cycles, and these group settings will be opportunities to meet people with whom you share something in common.

I am especially passionate about peaceful parenting, raising amazing teenagers, empowering relationships/marriages/partnerships to be the best they can be, anxiety management, financial management, and adulting/life skills. I love teaching and facilitating groups in a warm, fun, and supportive environment.

I am also available to visit schools and offices to offer individual (or a series of) workshops on any of these topics.

I manage the social media pages for our office as well. I hope you will subscribe and follow them - the things I share tend to align well with my philosophies and approach.

Inclusiveness
